Vienna: Seven injured in Yppenplatz brawl

A physical altercation at a football cage at Yppenplatz in Vienna-Ottakring resulted in seven injuries on Tuesday evening. The conflict began among children playing football when an eight-year-old boy's rough play led to complaints from other children.

The dispute escalated into a verbal argument between two mothers, which turned violent when one woman used a broom to strike another. During the brawl involving nine people, a child's bicycle was thrown into the crowd, striking a woman on the head.

Police reported that the injured included several children and adults. Authorities have identified a 24-year-old Syrian woman and a 24-year-old Somali woman, along with the minor boy, as suspects in the incident.
