Vienna Stock Exchange shows stable midday trading

Trading on the Vienna Stock Exchange remained relatively flat during midday sessions. The ATX index showed minimal movement, holding near the zero line at 6,631.75 points, while the ATX Prime index was slightly up by 0.01 percent at 3,261.62 points.

Both indices have shown significant growth since the beginning of 2026, with the ATX rising approximately 23.92 percent and the ATX Prime gaining 22.70 percent.

In terms of individual stock performance, Lenzing, voestalpine, and Vienna Insurance were among the top performers. Conversely, AT&S and Schoeller-Bleckmann saw declines. Wienerberger recorded the highest trading volume, while Erste Group Bank maintains the largest market capitalization within the ATX.
