Vierlingsturm Turmfest addresses local access issues

The Oberpfälzer Waldverein (OWV) branch of Weiden held its traditional Turmfest at the base of the Vierlingsturm on Fischerberg. Despite a rainy start and a wet morning service, the weather cleared in the afternoon, allowing for a successful celebration featuring Bavarian-Bohemian music and a traditional breakfast.

Beyond the festivities, the event served as a platform to address the long-standing issue of access to the Vierlingsturm. Local leaders from Weiden and Theisseil expressed a renewed commitment to working together to find a solution to the unresolved access question, offering new hope for resolving the matter.
