Viersen awards first quality seals for modern personnel policies

The District of Viersen and the Economic Development Agency (WFG) for the District of Viersen have held the inaugural awards for the ‘Ausgezeichnet Arbeiten – Kreis Viersen’ quality seal. Five regional companies were recognized for implementing modern personnel policies that prioritize human-centric, flexible, and future-oriented working conditions.

The initiative, supported by the Competence Center ‘Frau & Beruf Mittlerer Niederrhein’ (Competentia NRW), aims to address the challenges of skilled labor competition and demographic change. District Director Ingo Schabrich emphasized that modern employer attractiveness requires a broader understanding of family-friendliness, supporting employees through various life stages, such as childcare, eldercare, or returning to work after a hiatus.

Awarded companies include Volksbank Viersen eG, the practice of tax consultant Clemens Rütten, Hempel Industrial Maintenance, ALDERS electronic GmbH, and W. K. K. GmbH. The program seeks to make successful regional business models visible and encourage peer-to-peer learning among local employers.
