Viet Duc High School unveils new look after 300 billion VND renovation

Viet Duc High School, a historic institution in Hanoi with over 70 years of history, has unveiled its new appearance following a renovation project valued at over 300 billion VND. The upgrades were completed ahead of the 2026-2027 school year.

The renovation preserves the school's traditional French colonial architectural features, particularly in Building A, while integrating modern structures. New sections, specifically from the fourth to sixth floors, feature a white and yellow color palette with arched doorways and soft curves. Notable design elements include an outdoor spiral staircase and a system of skylights and atriums designed to maximize natural light and ventilation.

In terms of capacity and facilities, the school has expanded from 25 classrooms to 30 classrooms, supplemented by 10 functional rooms, including high-quality foreign language classrooms. The project also included investments in new laboratories, practical training areas, and updated teaching support spaces.
