Vietbank appoints Chester Gorski as Acting General Director
Vietbank has appointed Chester Gorski as its new Acting General Director, effective September 29, 2024. Gorski, who previously served as the bank's Deputy General Director, brings over 30 years of international experience in finance, technology, and operations.
Before joining Vietbank, Gorski held significant leadership roles, including Chief Technology and Operations Officer (CTOO) at Techcombank. His professional background includes management and strategic roles at several major U.S. institutions, such as Wells Fargo, Anthem, Aon Corporation, and Sallie Mae, as well as consulting experience with McKinsey & Company and Price Waterhouse.
The appointment is part of Vietbank's strategic initiative to strengthen its senior leadership team and accelerate its digital transformation. The bank aims to leverage Gorski's expertise to enhance technological integration, data utilization, and customer experience through digital channels.
