VietinBank deputy director's wife wins auction for 12 billion VND apartment
VietinBank has announced an unusual information disclosure regarding a sale contract for an auctioned asset. Huỳnh Nữ Trâm Anh, the wife of VietinBank Deputy General Director Trần Công Quỳnh Lân, won the auction for an apartment located in the Nam Thăng Long Urban Area (Ciputra Hanoi) in Phú Thượng, Hanoi.
The apartment, unit 1102 in building L01, had a starting auction price of 12.4 billion VND. The transaction price excludes taxes and fees, which are the responsibility of the buyer. Other apartments in the same building were also part of the auction process with starting prices ranging from 12.7 billion to 13 billion VND.
These assets originated from sales contracts signed in 2012 between VietinBank and the Nam Thăng Long Urban Area Development Co., Ltd., a joint venture between Vietnam's UDIC and Indonesia's Ciputra Group. Additionally, VietinBank noted it is finalizing the sale of the VietinBank Tower in Ciputra Hanoi to a leading Vietnamese real estate company, with the transfer contract expected to be signed in August 2026.
