Vietjet and Muang Thai Insurance leaders promote Vietnam-Thailand football ties
Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, Vietnam’s first self-made female billionaire, and Nualphan Lamsam (Madam Pang), President of the Football Association of Thailand, have met in Bangkok to strengthen ties between their respective nations.
The meeting coincided with efforts to promote cooperation between Vietjet and Muang Thai Insurance. Beyond business interests, the leaders discussed collaborative initiatives focused on youth football, cultural exchange, and community development between Vietnam and Thailand.
Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, who was awarded the title of Labor Hero of the Renovation Period in 2025, has a long history of supporting Vietnamese football and futsal through her business ventures. Nualphan Lamsam, also the CEO of Muang Thai Insurance, has been a prominent figure in Thai football management.
