Vietjet expands flight network to Moscow and Russia

Vietjet has announced the expansion of its flight network connecting Vietnam and the Russian Federation, including new routes to Moscow. The announcement took place in Kazan, Russia, in June 2026, witnessed by Prime Minister Lê Minh Hưng.

To date, Vietjet has operated 22 routes, completing 1,360 flights and transporting 403,750 passengers. The current network connects major Vietnamese tourism hubs—Nha Trang, Da Nang, and Phu Quoc—with 10 Russian destinations, including Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Novokuznetsk, Kazan, Ufa, Moscow, Barnaul, and Blagoveshchensk.

The airline is researching further expansion to potential destinations such as Yekaterinburg, Saint Petersburg, Samara, and Irkutsk, subject to market demand and international regulatory compliance. This expansion aims to facilitate tourism, economic-trade activities, and regional connectivity across Southeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific.
