Vietlott distributes 31,000 billion dong in lottery prizes over a decade

Vietnam's state‑run lottery operator Vietlott has paid out a cumulative 31,000 billion dong (about US$1.3 billion) in prizes since it began operations ten years ago, reaching more than 190 million ticket holders nationwide. The recently launched Lotto 5/35 product, introduced on 29 June 2025, contributed 365 billion dong in winnings in its first year, with 66 players winning prizes above 1 billion dong and a record single jackpot of 23 billion dong awarded to a Gen Z bank employee in Ho Chi Minh City on 27 April 2026.

In 2025 Vietlott reported revenue of 9,686 billion dong, a 22 % rise from the previous year, and its contributions to local budgets reached 2,495 billion dong, up 20 % year‑on‑year. Across its product portfolio – Mega 6/45, Power 6/55, Keno, Bingo 18 and other instant‑draw games – the company recorded more than 32 million prize‑winning tickets, distributing over 5,342 billion dong to players.
