Vietlott jackpot winners claim 18.6‑23 billion VND prizes in Hue and Can Tho

The state‑run Vietlott lottery announced two recent jackpot winners in Vietnam. On 5 July 2026 a ticket sold in Hue matched all six numbers in the Mega 6/45 draw, earning the holder a prize of over 18.6 billion VND. After tax at the 10 % personal income‑tax rate, the net amount is about 16.7 billion VND.

A second winner was identified on 6 July 2026. A construction worker from An Giang, who bought a ticket from a mobile seller on 30/4 Street in Vị Thanh, Cần Thơ, won the Mega 6/45 draw numbered 01528, receiving a jackpot of more than 23 billion VND. After the required 10 % tax, roughly 2.3 billion VND is deducted. Both winners must claim the prize within 60 days, and the tickets were verified through Vietlott’s electronic system.

These wins highlight the growing prize pools of Vietnam’s electronic lottery and the tax obligations for large gambling payouts.
