Vietlott winner claims 71.8 billion VND Jackpot 1 prize

A man from Quang Tri, currently working in the Nhon Trach Industrial Park in Dong Nai, has won a Vietlott Power 6/55 Jackpot 1 prize worth over 71.8 billion VND. The award ceremony was held by the Vietnam Lottery Company (Vietlott) on August 21.

Mr. H, the winner, purchased his winning ticket via the Vietlott SMS application through the Vinaphone network. He has been a long-time player, purchasing 4 to 5 tickets daily through both physical outlets and mobile channels. Notably, he has won prizes on the mobile distribution channel 1,103 times, including previous first prizes in the Power 6/55 and Mega 6/45 categories.

Regarding his winning numbers, Mr. H stated that he does not rely on a specific set of numbers and typically uses the system's random selection. While he occasionally uses family birthdays when jackpots are high, this specific winning combination was randomly generated by the system. He initially believed he had won a minor prize due to his frequent wins, only realizing the scale of the jackpot after being contacted by Vietlott representatives.
