Vietnam advances legislative reforms and infrastructure oversight
Vietnam is undergoing several administrative and legislative shifts. The National Assembly is reviewing amendments to the Housing Law and the Law on Real Estate Business, focusing on decentralizing authority to local governments, reducing administrative procedures, and simplifying investment conditions to stimulate the market.
In the industrial and construction sectors, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc has chaired meetings to evaluate the progress of key national projects. The government aims to resolve bottlenecks related to investment procedures, land clearance, and capital disbursement to ensure these projects meet their 2026 completion targets and support national energy security.
Regional developments include economic assessments in Dong Nai, where GRDP grew by over 10% in the first nine months of 2026, and Dak Lak, which is focusing on fourth-quarter growth strategies. Additionally, administrative restructuring is occurring in Dien Bien through the pilot establishment of new Party committees, and in Thanh Hoa through the reorganization of tax management personnel.
