Vietnam strengthens diplomatic and digital ties with Singapore, Laos, and China

Vietnam is actively strengthening bilateral ties through various diplomatic and technical channels. In Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Public Security Pham The Tung met with Singaporean Ambassador Rajpal Singh to discuss enhancing cooperation in cybersecurity, digital transformation, and combating high-tech crime. This follows the recent upgrade of Vietnam-Singapore relations to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Simultaneously, Vietnam is deepening regional cooperation. High-level officials from Vietnam and Laos met to exchange experiences in political propaganda and digital media management, focusing on maintaining social stability and responding to technological challenges like AI. In Beijing, Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Minh Vu held working sessions with Chinese counterparts to promote bilateral cooperation and strategic connectivity.

At the local level, authorities in Lao Cai province engaged with representatives from China’s Ha Kou County to exchange expertise in propaganda, cultural promotion, and environmental protection along the shared border.
