Vietnam advances multi‑billion‑dong leisure complexes in Hanoi and Phú Thọ

The Hanoi municipal government approved a 125‑hectare multifunctional entertainment complex centered on a horse‑racing track in Sóc Sơn district. The project, a joint venture between Hanoi Tourist and South Korea’s Global Consultant Network, carries an estimated investment of nearly VND 10,000 billion (about USD 420 million) and is slated to open in 2028. Planners expect it to create roughly 5,000 direct jobs and attract about 25,000 workers in related services.

In Phú Thọ province, the BRG Group‑led Thung Lựng Nữ Hoàng resort project covers about 142 ha and involves a VND 2,000 billion (≈ USD 86 million) investment. Over 92% of the required land has been cleared, but compensation disputes with a handful of households remain unresolved, delaying final hand‑over. The development aims to combine high‑end residential, hospitality and leisure facilities, positioning the province as a new tourism hub.
