Vietnam advances regional security and social supervision initiatives

Vietnam is implementing various regional initiatives focused on public security, border stability, and social supervision. The Ministry of Public Security held a conference to review the five-year implementation of Circular No. 124/2021/TT-BCA, which aims to establish security and order standards for residential areas, businesses, and educational institutions. By 2026, a significant number of residential areas, communes, and wards are expected to meet these safety standards.

In border regions such as Ha Tinh, coordinated efforts between border guards, police, and military forces have been reported to maintain security and prevent illegal activities. This multi-agency cooperation focuses on patrolling, controlling border crossings, and supporting local communities during natural disasters.

In Tay Ninh Province, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and local political organizations have intensified social supervision and criticism activities. Over an eight-month period, hundreds of supervisory sessions were conducted regarding land management, administrative reform, and social welfare. These efforts aim to ensure that government policies align with the needs of the people and to address grievances effectively.
