Vietnam Airlines named World's Best Culinary Airline 2026

Vietnam Airlines has been named the ‘World’s Best Culinary Airline 2026’ at the 7th annual World Culinary Awards held in Jamaica. This marks the first time an Asian airline has won this specific category, breaking a four-year winning streak by Air France.

The airline outperformed several major international competitors, including Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways, Cathay Pacific, and Turkish Airlines. The award is determined through voting by industry professionals and consumers.

To achieve this recognition, Vietnam Airlines integrated traditional Vietnamese flavors with modern presentation, featuring dishes such as Pho, Bun Bo Hue, Mi Quang, and Banh Mi Hoi An. The airline’s culinary strategy focuses on utilizing domestic agricultural products, including seasonal fruits and specialties from various Vietnamese provinces, to enhance the in-flight experience as part of its goal to reach five-star service standards by 2030.
