Vietnam Airlines restores Can Tho‑Da Lat flight after six‑year hiatus

Vietnam Airlines announced that the Can ThoDa Lat route, suspended for six years, will resume operations on 19 August 2026. The service will be operated by VASCO, a member of the Vietnam Airlines Group, using ATR 72 turboprop aircraft. Initially one round‑trip flight per day will be offered, with a reduced schedule of five round‑trips per week in September and October 2026 (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

The restored route shortens travel between the Mekong Delta and the Central Highlands, providing a direct alternative to road journeys via Ho Chi Minh City. At the same time, Vietnam Airlines will maintain seven daily round‑trip flights linking Da Lat with Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, further expanding the airline’s domestic network.
