Vietnam Airlines to launch Ahmedabad–Hanoi direct flights in November 2026

Vietnam Airlines has announced the launch of direct flights between Ahmedabad, India, and Hanoi, Vietnam, scheduled to begin on 3 November 2026. The new service will operate four times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

This expansion marks the airline’s fifth destination in India, joining its existing network in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. The route is intended to strengthen connectivity between the two nations, supporting growth in leisure travel, business exchanges, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) activities.

Nguyen Trung Hieu, Country Manager for Vietnam Airlines in India, noted that India is a strategic market with increasing demand for tourism and business travel. The direct link aims to provide travelers from Gujarat and surrounding regions with more efficient access to northern Vietnam and its cultural landmarks.
