Vietnam and Argentina seek to expand academic and educational cooperation

Vietnamese Ambassador to Argentina Ngo Minh Nguyet met with representatives from Austral University in Buenos Aires on October 8 to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation in education, training, and academic research.

Dr. Gabriel M. Astarloa, Dean of the Faculty of Law at Austral University, expressed interest in expanding exchanges involving professors, students, and academics, as well as developing joint research projects. The university, founded in 1991, focuses on fields such as law, political science, international relations, public policy, and management.

Ambassador Nguyet highlighted Argentina’s growing importance as a partner for Vietnam in Latin America, noting over 50 years of friendship across political, economic, and cultural sectors. She proposed fostering connections between the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam and Austral University to enhance collaboration in international relations and political science.
