Vietnam and Cambodia propose joint activities for 60th diplomatic anniversary

Vietnam and Cambodia are proposing coordinated activities to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations. During a meeting between Bùi Thị Minh Hoài, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and Hun Many, Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia and President of the Cambodian Youth Union, both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation through youth and student exchanges, seminars, and cultural programs.

The two nations aim to build practical activities that resonate with the public, particularly the younger generation, by focusing on the history of their bilateral relations and people-to-people exchanges. This follows a memorandum of understanding between the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Cambodian Youth Union to increase high-level delegation exchanges and enhance the effectiveness of joint activities.
