Vietnam advances economic and cultural initiatives for 2026

Vietnam is hosting various regional economic and cultural initiatives in 2026. In Da Nang, the Vietnam International Financial Center (VIFC-DN) is collaborating with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) to discuss legal frameworks, green finance, and carbon market operations. The center aims to attract international investment through incentives such as a 10% corporate income tax rate for 30 years and personal income tax exemptions for qualified international experts.

In the Mekong Delta, a trade and investment forum involving over 300 enterprises is promoting Vietnam-China cooperation in logistics, green technology, and agriculture. Meanwhile, Can Tho is preparing for the second International Rice Festival in late 2026, themed ‘Vietnam Green Rice - Reaching International Standards.’

Other notable activities include the launch of the Vietnam Digital Content Creation Festival 2026 to boost the digital economy, and a regional forum in Cambodia focused on combating fake news, where Vietnam Television’s investigative work received recognition. Additionally, Thanh Hoa province is organizing an event to honor outstanding entrepreneurs to drive local socio-economic development.
