Tay Ninh Province Targets Belgian Investment in Green, High‑Tech Sectors

The People’s Committee of Tay Ninh province, together with the Vietnamese Embassy in Brussels, hosted an investment promotion conference in Belgium. Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyễn Văn Quyết highlighted the province’s $14 billion economy and its strategic location linking Ho Chi Minh City with ASEAN, saying the EU‑Vietnam Free Trade Agreement is opening new opportunities for Belgian investors.

Ambassador Nguyễn Văn Thảo added that sectors such as circular economy, clean energy, environmental technology, biotechnology and advanced agriculture are priorities for the province. He noted more than 2,000 active projects in Tay Ninh with a total registered capital of about $26 billion. During the event, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Association of Vietnamese Intellectuals in Belgium and Luxembourg and Tay Ninh, and Swiss Asia Partner received an investment registration certificate for the Be Milk dairy plant, a project exceeding $100 million.
