Vietnam and Hong Kong expand education and technology cooperation

Vietnam and Hong Kong are expanding cooperation in the fields of education and technology. The movement of Vietnamese intellectuals and talents to Hong Kong for study and work is serving as a catalyst for bilateral cooperation and scientific research development in Vietnam.

Le Duc Hanh, the Consul General of Hanoi in Hong Kong, noted that Hong Kong’s internationally standardized academic environment acts as a bridge for knowledge exchange, helping young Vietnamese talents integrate globally. At the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), approximately 40 Vietnamese students are currently enrolled in undergraduate programs focusing on science, business, engineering, and social sciences.
