Vietnam and India expand international tourism and travel services
Vietnam is actively working to increase international tourism through various regional initiatives. Thai Nguyen province aims to welcome 1 million international arrivals by 2030, targeting significant revenue and job creation. In Ho Chi Minh City, officials are focusing on developing a standardized service ecosystem to boost medical tourism, leveraging specialized hospitals and skilled medical workforces for treatments ranging from dentistry to cosmetic procedures.
Additionally, Vietnam’s rail journeys between Hue and Da Nang and The Vietage by Anantara have been recognized among the world’s best by a US travel magazine. In Phu Quoc, international athletes have begun arriving for the third season of the Symphony of the Sea.
In India, ORN Ventures has announced plans to expand its franchise network to 100 cities. The technology-enabled company aims to meet the growing demand for personalized international holidays by connecting local entrepreneurs with global travel products and digital capabilities.
