Vietnam and Israel aim to connect technology and innovation ecosystems

Vietnam and Israel are working to strengthen the connection between their scientific, technological, and innovation ecosystems. During a meeting at the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel, Ambassador Nguyễn Kỳ Sơn emphasized that science, technology, innovation, and artificial intelligence (AI) are critical drivers for Vietnam's development.

The discussions focused on the need to integrate the two ecosystems by leveraging the complementary strengths of each nation. Key areas of interest include enhancing cooperation between regulatory bodies, research institutions, businesses, investors, and experts to create long-term, practical partnership models.

Israeli experts shared insights into their innovation ecosystem, highlighting mechanisms such as matching funds to share risks and attract venture capital, incubator systems for early-stage technology, and frameworks that connect universities with businesses to commercialize research results.
