Vietnam and Japan launch UAV and AI innovation space in Hoa Lac

Vietnam and Japan have launched an Innovation Space at the National Innovation Center (NIC) in Hoa Lac to foster bilateral technological cooperation. The initiative focuses on high-growth sectors, specifically Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs/drones) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Supported by the Government of Japan and managed in coordination with the UNDP, the project aims to provide a testing ground for startups from both nations. This facility will allow entrepreneurs to validate products and ideas in a controlled environment, reducing risks before market entry. The collaboration seeks to leverage the growing global UAV market, which is expected to drive significant economic value across military, agricultural, and commercial sectors.
