Vietnam and Singapore Strengthen Tech Ties at Digital Economy Forum

At the Vietnam‑Singapore Tech Connect Forum 2026 held in Singapore on May 29, more than 400 delegates from government agencies, research institutions, universities, businesses and investment funds gathered to deepen bilateral cooperation in science, technology and innovation. The high‑ranking Vietnamese delegation participated in discussions promoting a “triple‑helix” model that links government, academia and industry to accelerate the translation of research into market‑ready solutions. Key focus areas included artificial intelligence, deep technology, advanced manufacturing and broader digital‑economy initiatives, with both nations seeking to build robust innovation ecosystems and attract cross‑border investment.
