Vietnam and Thailand commemorate 50 years of diplomatic ties with photo exhibition

A photo exhibition titled "The Lens of Diplomacy: 50 Years of Thailand‑Vietnam Relations" opened at the Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum in Hanoi to mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand (established August 6, 1976). The opening ceremony was attended by Thai Ambassador to Vietnam Urawadee Sriphiromya, Director General of the Vietnam News Agency Vu Viet Trang, former Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand Phan Chi Thanh and other delegates.

The exhibition showcases a curated collection of archival and contemporary photographs documenting royal visits, high‑level trips, cultural exchanges, economic cooperation and people‑to‑people contacts over five decades. Materials were supplied by the Thai Embassy in Hanoi, the Vietnam‑Thailand Friendship Association, the Ministry of Interior's archives and Vietnam News Agency. It is free to the public from July 24‑30, 2026, operating daily from 08:30 to 17:00, except Mondays.
