Vietnam and Venezuela to strengthen Comprehensive Partnership

Vietnamese Ambassador to Venezuela Võ Tuấn Ngọc met with Eduardo Ramirez, Venezuela's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade in charge of Asia, to discuss strengthening bilateral ties.

Both parties emphasized the importance of the Comprehensive Partnership between Vietnam and Venezuela. Discussions focused on enhancing political and diplomatic relations, promoting cooperation in priority sectors, and preparing for the 4th meeting of the Vietnam-Venezuela Intergovernmental Committee.

Additionally, the two sides agreed to coordinate activities in 2027 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam-Venezuela Comprehensive Partnership. The Venezuelan government expressed gratitude for Vietnam's previous earthquake relief efforts.
