Vietnam approves national digital learning materials system
Vietnam has approved a project to establish a National Digital Learning Materials System for general education. Signed by Deputy Prime Minister Lê Tiến Châu, the initiative aims to create a unified digital infrastructure managed by the State to support educational reform.
The system is designed to be open and data-centric, prioritizing the connection and exploitation of national digital platforms. It seeks to ensure equitable access to high-quality, standardized, and free digital learning resources for all students, teachers, and educational administrators nationwide. Special priority will be given to resources and access solutions for students and teachers in mountainous areas, ethnic minority regions, and those with disabilities.
Key objectives include perfecting legal frameworks regarding digital copyrights and technical standards, as well as building a stable and secure National Digital Learning Materials Portal. This portal is intended to serve 100% of general education institutions across the country.
