Vietnam Arrests Nguyễn Thị Kim Chi at Tan Son Nhat Airport on Gambling Charges

Vietnam’s Department of Crime Prevention (CATP) seized Nguyễn Thị Kim Chi, a 1986‑born Vietnamese national, as she landed at Tan Son Nhat International Airport after returning from Belgium. She is accused of illegal gambling under a 2010 arrest warrant and was handed over to the Ho Chi Minh City Police for prosecution.

In related operations, CATP also arrested Chinese‑born Song Yun Sheng on gambling‑related charges and Nguyễn Phạm Như Huỳnh on fraud allegations, transferring both to the appropriate city police units.

The coordinated arrests involved police forces from Ho Chi Minh City and several provincial authorities.
