Vietnam International Defence Expo 2026 to be held in Hanoi

The Vietnam Ministry of National Defence has announced the third Vietnam International Defence Expo, scheduled to take place from December 10 to 13, 2026, at Gia Lam Airport in Hanoi. The event will be held under the theme “Peace - Friendship - Cooperation for Common Development.”

Organizers report that 189 entities from 36 countries have registered to participate in the exhibition. Additionally, 44 delegations from 30 countries, including ministers and high-ranking military officials, are expected to attend. Official national pavilions will represent countries such as Russia, the United Kingdom, the United States, Japan, France, India, and Turkey.

The exhibition will cover approximately 123,800 square meters, divided into seven main areas, including indoor and outdoor display zones. Exhibits will feature combat vehicles, technological solutions, and weaponry for naval, land, air defense, and cyber warfare forces, as well as logistics and technical equipment. The event will also include a defense experience zone where visitors can use virtual reality to simulate operating MiG-21 aircraft, infantry combat vehicles, and military vessels.
