Vietnam authorities strengthen urban order and environmental enforcement

Local authorities in Vietnam are intensifying efforts to manage urban order and environmental compliance. In Bai Chay Ward, officials are targeting sidewalk encroachments, illegal parking, and unauthorized business activities in high-traffic areas such as Cai Dam and Vuon Dao markets. To maintain order, authorities are combining inspections with community outreach, encouraging business owners to sign commitments to respect public spaces.

In Nghe An province, law enforcement is focusing on illegal waste disposal. Following reports from environmental workers and citizens, the Vinh Hung Ward Police have issued administrative fines to individuals caught dumping trash improperly on public roads. This enforcement is supported by a coordination mechanism between the local police and the Nghe An Environment and Urban Works Joint Stock Company to enhance surveillance and rapid response to environmental violations.
