Vietnam aviation security recommends online check-in

Aviation security forces in Vietnam are recommending that passengers utilize online check-in services to save time and reduce congestion at airport terminals, particularly during peak travel seasons.

Quang Ninh Provincial Police noted that while most Vietnamese airlines offer online check-in via websites or mobile apps for domestic and some international flights, many passengers remain unfamiliar with the process. Using these digital services allows travelers to receive electronic boarding passes on their phones or print them manually, bypassing traditional counter queues.

Authorities emphasize that completing an online check-in does not exempt passengers from arriving at the airport according to airline schedules. Travelers must still allow sufficient time for checked baggage procedures, security screenings, and reaching the departure gate on time.
