Vietnam Border Guard Command receives First-Class Labor Order
The Vietnam Border Guard Command has been awarded the First-Class Labor Order for its decade of contributions to border security and community development. Over the past ten years, the Command has implemented 24 significant programs and models, including initiatives like 'Spring Border Guard Warms the Hearts of Villagers' and various educational and medical support programs for border communities. These efforts have focused on building a strong political system and fostering cooperation with local ethnic groups to maintain a stable border defense.
In a separate national initiative, provinces including Cà Mau and An Giang are preparing for the 'Cung Viet Nam Tien Buoc' (Walking with Vietnam) program. The program, scheduled for late August 2026, expects thousands of participants, including military and police forces, students, and local citizens, with a national goal of reaching 10 billion steps.
