Vietnam celebrates Women's Day with cultural and tourism events

Various cultural and tourism activities are being organized in Vietnam to celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day on October 20 and International Intangible Cultural Heritage Day.

In Hanoi, students from FPT Polytechnic College participated in a “Heritage Storytelling” competition at the Vietnam Women's Museum. The event featured presentations and dramatized performances focused on the roles of women in families, history, and religious beliefs. Winning performances included “Bac Le Sacred Temple,” which addressed the preservation of Mother Goddess worship.

In Quang Ninh, more than 30 luxury cruise ships participated in a fireworks gala at the Ha Long International Cruise Port. The event, titled “Fireworks Banquet at the Cruise Pier—Honoring the Beauty of Vietnamese Women,” combined water-based fireworks with music, culinary experiences, and art performances to promote autumn-winter tourism in Ha Long Bay.
