Vietnam Cinema Association holds 10th Congress

The 10th Congress of the Vietnam Cinema Association (term 2026–2031) has convened under the theme of ‘awakening the desire for innovation and contribution, promoting the creative capacity of the workforce to contribute to the development of a modern, humane Vietnamese cinema and television industry.’

During the congress, Ha Thi Nga, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, emphasized the critical role of culture in shaping national character and social consensus. She noted that cinema serves as a vital tool for reflecting reality, spreading humanistic values, and preserving national memory. Furthermore, she highlighted cinema's potential as a medium to promote Vietnamese culture and people to the international community while fostering global friendship.
