Vietnam cinema prepares for National Day and autumn film releases

The Vietnamese film market is preparing for a diverse series of releases during the National Day holiday and the upcoming autumn season.

New titles for the holiday period include 'HOPE vùng tử địa', a survival thriller involving extraterrestrial entities directed by Na Hong-Jin, 'Một đêm duy nhất', a romantic drama, and 'Ma tù', a supernatural horror film set in a prison.

Following these releases, Studio Ghibli films are scheduled to arrive in theaters this autumn. The lineup includes 'Marnie Yêu Dấu' (When Marnie Was There), 'Laputa: Lâu Đài Trên Không' (Castle In The Sky), 'Chuyện Công Chúa Kaguya' (The Tale of Princess Kaguya), and 'Ngọn Đồi Hoa Hồng Anh' (From Up On Poppy Hill).
