Vietnam Circus Federation debuts 3D mapping production
The Vietnam Circus Federation has premiered a new production titled ‘Son Than Thuy Quai’ (Mountain God and Water Monster), which integrates traditional circus arts with advanced 3D mapping technology, lighting, and music.
The performance utilizes a water stage at the Central Circus to expand the space for artistic expression. By employing 3D mapping, the production recreates diverse environments such as mountains, forests, and seas to build a mythical narrative. This technological integration is designed to enhance the physical presence of the artists and bring traditional cultural values to contemporary audiences. The production has seen significant commercial success, with the 1,200-seat venue consistently reaching full capacity.
