In Da Nang, search efforts have concluded for two individuals missing after being swept away by waves at Mui Nghe. While two others from the group were rescued, the remaining two remain missing despite extensive searches by the Coast Guard, Navy, and local rescue teams.
In Dong Nai, authorities are investigating a suspicious death involving two people. A man was found dead in a living room, and an 18-year-old woman was found deceased in a bedroom. Investigators noted injuries and bloodstains at the scene, suggesting potential criminal activity.
Law enforcement in Dak Lak has taken action against individuals spreading misinformation and superstitious content on social media regarding the search for a missing Chinese tourist. Authorities are also managing crowds to ensure search operations proceed without interference.
In other developments, the Navy rescued a fisherman who had been drifting at sea for four days. Additionally, police in Ho Chi Minh City arrested a Nigerian national for attempting to transport heroin and synthetic drugs concealed within electronic components, and authorities in Da Nang apprehended a man caught stealing from tourists at My Khe beach.
