Vietnam commemorates 138th anniversary of President Ton Duc Thang's birth

Commemorative events were held on August 20 to mark the 138th anniversary of the birth of President Ton Duc Thang. Ceremonies took place at the Ton Duc Thang Museum in Ho Chi Minh City and at the Ton Duc Thang Memorial Area in My Hoa Hung Commune, An Giang Province.

Delegates and representatives from various agencies offered incense and flowers to honor the former leader's revolutionary career and contributions to national liberation and defense. Speakers highlighted Ton Duc Thang's legacy as a steadfast fighter, a close comrade of President Ho Chi Minh, and an exemplary leader who maintained an honest and upright character throughout his life.

The Ton Duc Thang Museum also opened a special exhibition titled ‘Journey of 20 Seasons of Blossoms’ to celebrate the occasion. Officials emphasized using his moral example to educate younger generations about patriotism and national pride.
