Vietnam regional developments in administration, personnel, and economy

Vietnam is undergoing several significant regional shifts in administration, governance, and economic activity. In Khanh Hoa, the government has approved a general urban planning roadmap through 2050, which includes relocating the provincial administrative center from Nha Trang to Cam Lam. The plan aims to transform Khanh Hoa into a centrally governed city by 2030 and an international maritime urban area by 2050.

In Ha Tinh, the Provincial Party Committee has announced the rotation and appointment of 10 key officials across various departments and local authorities, including new leadership for the Department of Finance and the Economic Zone Management Board.

Economically, businesses in Can Tho are facing challenges with credit growth. Despite a total loan balance of over 353,400 billion VND, credit expansion has slowed. Local business leaders report that many enterprises are hesitant to invest or expand production due to high interest rates and extended capital recovery periods, which can stretch from five to ten years.
