Vietnam community support and disaster relief efforts

Various community support and disaster relief activities are being conducted across several provinces in Vietnam. In Hà Tĩnh, multiple humanitarian efforts have been reported, including the provision of 700 million VND in savings to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, the construction of permanent housing for impoverished women, and free medical screenings and medicine for over 600 disabled children and elderly residents.

In Lào Cai, the Thien Tam Foundation by Vingroup provided support to a child with severe disabilities. Meanwhile, the province has faced significant weather-related challenges, with heavy rain and thunderstorms causing damage to 37 houses and various agricultural areas. Authorities have also issued warnings regarding flash floods and landslides in 40 communes.
