Vietnam Dioxin Victims Association Awarded Second‑Class Labor Medal

On July 3, the Vietnam Dioxin Victims Association was presented with the Second‑Class Labor Medal by Nguyen Phi Long, the acting head of state and deputy secretary of the Fatherland Front. The ceremony was organized jointly by the association, the Permanent Secretariat of the National Steering Committee on post‑war chemical weapons, and the Military Radio‑Television Center, and was broadcast live on the Defense Television Channel and streamed online.

Senior officials attended, including Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang, Deputy Minister of Defence, and Lieutenant General Nguyen Huu Chinh, Chairman of the Association. The award recognised the organization’s efforts to protect the legal rights, welfare and social integration of dioxin victims, as well as its humanitarian and charitable activities.
