Vietnam Education Ministry orders swift update of 2026 high‑school exam data
The Ministry of Education and Training (Bộ GD&ĐT) has sent a circular to all provincial education departments demanding an urgent review and correction of candidate information in the national university admission system before 17:00 on 24 July. The review must cover disciplinary actions that alter exam scores, foreign‑language scores lacking subject codes, unapproved priority certificates, incorrect registration forms, and priority‑area data.
The ministry reports more than 125,000 candidates lack approved priority or foreign‑language certificates, while tens of thousands have missing or mismatched foreign‑language codes and scores. Over 2,600 priority‑area entries also require verification. Incomplete or inaccurate records could prevent students from being selected for university and college admission.
Provincial departments are instructed to direct receiving points to complete the updates, submit any appeal‑related adjustments, and ensure all data are finalized by the stated deadline.
