Vietnam Farmers' Union to launch dialogue forum with Ministry of Public Security

The Vietnam Farmers' Union has announced plans to launch the first “Listen to Farmers Speak” forum in 2026, a collaborative initiative with the Ministry of Public Security. The forum aims to establish a direct dialogue between government authorities and farmers nationwide to address practical issues regarding production, rural life, and local security.

This initiative follows directives from General Secretary and President To Lam regarding the implementation of “Months to Listen to the People.” The forum is designed to serve as a bridge for farmers to voice concerns related to new rural development, social order, and the impacts of local administrative restructuring. By facilitating direct communication, the program seeks to help functional agencies better understand the aspirations and challenges of the agricultural community while supporting the goals of the 14th National Congress.
