Vietnam F&B market revenue reaches 432.7 trillion VND in H1 2026
Vietnam's food and beverage (F&B) market is entering a period of stabilization and increased differentiation. According to reports from iPOS.vn and Nestlé Professional for the first half of 2026, the industry recorded a total revenue of 432.7 trillion VND, representing a 6.55% increase compared to the same period last year.
While the total number of F&B outlets saw a slight decrease of 0.1% compared to the end of 2025, the market added nearly 30,000 new points of sale compared to the previous year. This growth suggests that new openings are offsetting the closure of weaker businesses during the industry's seasonal purification phase.
Market trends indicate a growing gap between leading enterprises and smaller players. Professional investors are actively seeking prime locations vacated by businesses with unstable cash flows. Approximately 52.01% of surveyed F&B businesses intend to expand their scale or open new locations in the second half of 2026. Notably, Highlands Coffee reached a milestone of 1,000 stores in June 2026.
