Vietnam finishes 20th at 2026 Asian Para Games

The Vietnamese para-sports delegation concluded the 2026 Asian Para Games with a total of five medals, consisting of one gold, two silver, and two bronze. This performance placed Vietnam 20th in the final medal standings.

China topped the overall medal table, securing 207 gold, 117 silver, and 111 bronze medals. Japan finished in second place, followed by Uzbekistan in third. Thailand was the highest-ranking Southeast Asian nation, finishing 7th overall.

Notable achievements for Vietnam included a gold medal from athlete Do Thanh Hai and contributions from swimmers Le Tien Dat and discus thrower Nguyen Thi Ngoc Thuy.
