Vietnam focuses on human resource quality and modern governance

Vietnam is focusing on modernizing national governance and enhancing human resource quality to drive economic growth and competitiveness. Following the 13th Party Congress Resolution, the country is transitioning from traditional state management toward modern governance characterized by transparency, accountability, and the rule of law.

To support this transition, the Ministry of Finance has implemented a training and development scheme for its workforce to meet international standards and handle complex socio-economic fluctuations.

In a related discussion hosted by the Vietnam Association of Administrative Science, experts emphasized that talent recruitment must be treated as a national priority. Dr. Tran Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Association, noted that the country must shift its mindset to identify talent based on actual merit, ethics, and tangible contributions rather than just academic degrees or seniority. There is an ongoing effort to develop a national strategic project to attract and utilize talent in key sectors to ensure sustainable development.
